LocalDoctors is a technology platform that helps patients discover healthcare providers and request or book healthcare services. LocalDoctors is not a hospital, clinic, doctor, laboratory, diagnostic centre, or other healthcare provider. We do not independently provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or medical advice.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who Can Use the Platform
- You must be 18 years or older to create and manage an account.
- If you use the Platform to book or request services for a minor or dependent, you confirm that you are the minor's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to act on their behalf.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating or using your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and account information secure.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you notify us of unauthorized access.

- Request or book appointments with healthcare providers.
- Manage appointment-related information, including cancellations, rescheduling, and appointment status where supported.

3. Healthcare Providers and Medical Services
LocalDoctors is a technology platform and does not itself provide medical services.
Any medical consultation, diagnosis, prescription, treatment, test, report, or other healthcare service is provided by the relevant doctor, clinic, laboratory, diagnostic centre, physiotherapist, or other healthcare provider.
You understand and agree that:
- Healthcare providers are independently responsible for the medical services they provide.
- Local Doctors does not guarantee any particular medical outcome.
- Information about doctors and healthcare providers displayed on the Platform may be provided by the relevant provider or other sources and may change from time to time.
- You should make your own decisions regarding healthcare after consulting the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Local Doctors is not responsible for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or healthcare decisions made by a healthcare provider.
The Platform is not intended for medical emergencies. In an emergency, immediately contact the applicable emergency services or visit the nearest appropriate hospital or emergency facility.
4. Appointment Bookings
When you request or book an appointment through the Platform:
- You must provide accurate information required for the appointment.
- Appointment availability is subject to the availability and confirmation of the relevant healthcare provider.
- An appointment should be considered confirmed only when the Platform indicates that it has been successfully confirmed.
- Appointment times may occasionally change due to circumstances outside our control.
- You may cancel or reschedule an appointment where the relevant feature is available and subject to the applicable cancellation or rescheduling conditions.
- If a healthcare provider cancels, reschedules, or is unable to provide an appointment, we may provide relevant updates through the Platform or other communication channels.
Because the Platform currently does not process consultation payments through an in-app payment gateway, any consultation or service fees, where applicable, are subject to the arrangements communicated by the relevant healthcare provider.
